Another year gone

In the beginning of the year I set out to write at least one blog per month and with today’s blog I accomplish my goal: the last blog of the year. To someone else this might be a small achievement but I am proud of myself, I did it yeah… I reached a few other goals as well and there’s a whole lot of them that I was unable to achieve either because I was not determent enough, gave up or made too many excuses.

So… it’s the last day of the year and probably the best day to reflect on the year that passed by so quickly. I choose to look back and see all the great things in my life, how God provided for us, gave us direction, carried us through trials and how He restored us.

Whether you had a good or bad year there is always something you can take to the next year; a lesson learned, some wise words or experiences gained. A new year always brings hope of new beginnings, a clean start…let that be your motivation. Don’t let the past hold you in bondage, don’t look back, move forward even if it’s slow.

Thank you to everyone who followed, liked and shared my blog posts during the year. May the coming year be all that you hope for and more. Enjoy your journey of life discovering more about yourself, God and others around you. May you discover your purpose and may you live life to the fullest as the best you.
